Wiltshire Council has awarded a five-year £75 million highways maintenance contract to Ringway Infrastructure Services Limited.
The contract, which runs for five years from April 2016, is worth £15m per year. The company will be responsible for the maintenance of roads, street lights and pavements, clearing drains, gritting roads and emergency repairs. The contract has a possible extension of a further two years.
The contractor previously ran the contract in Wiltshire between 1999 and 2013.
Cabinet member for highways, Philip Whitehead, said: "I am delighted we have been able to award the contract to a partner we have had such a successful working relationship with in the past."
There was mutual agreement that the previous contract with Balfour Beatty Living Places would be terminated early.
