Transport Focus (TF) will explain its work in representing the interests of road users on the strategic road network at this year’s Highways SIB (Seeing is Believing) event.
TF is a watchdog for transport passengers and road users in the United Kingdom, based in London and Manchester.
It was known as Passenger Focus until March 2015, but then took on additional responsibility to protect and promote the interests of road users.
Guy Dangerfield, road user director, said: “Transport Focus looks forward to attending the Highways SIB (Seeing is Believing) conference and explaining about our work representing the interests of road users on England’s motorways and major ‘A’ roads. ‘Quality of road surfaces’ is the aspect that users’ want to see improved most, so it’s a great opportunity to see and hear about the wider industry innovations that will improve highway maintenance and reduce disruption to users.”
Highways SIB (Seeing is Believing) is Europe’s only event for indoor showcasing of highway products as well as outdoor demonstrations and testing in all lighting conditions.
The event is taking place from 9-10 November 2016 at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire. It is brought to you by Highways Magazine – the UK’s ONE and only magazine dedicated to the highway maintenance and traffic management industry – and Smart Highways Magazine – the UK’s only ITS and advanced traffic management magazine.
You can register for the event here.
There is limited stand space available and more information about exhibiting can be found here. Alternatively you can speak to Robert Gouge on 01732 459683 or email robert@aladltd.co.uk.
