Carbon cut claims in £450m LTC award date back to 2020

National Highways has announced Skanska as the preferred bidder for the Kent Roads contract on the £9bn Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) project, but has confirmed that a 30% cut in projected carbon emission under the £450m contract brings emissions to the level it has already stated to be current best practice.
