Roads Minister Andrew Jones will be speaking at this year’s Highways Magazine Excellence Awards.
The 2015 awards will be held at the Lancaster London next Wednesday (14 October).
The MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough was appointed Roads Minister in May 2015.
Mr Jones will talk about the government’s Road Investment Strategy.
He said: “I am delighted to be attending this year’s Highways Magazine Excellence Awards. With the government making a big investment into the highways sector over the next few years, the event will provide a great opportunity for me to outline some of our plans and to celebrate the achievements of others who work hard to improve this country’s roads."
