The conference is being headed up by the Road Surface Treatments Association and will examine the big issues concerning road maintenance and seek potential solutions.
Improving Highway Maintenance Efficiency will be held as a one-day conference on 29 March at The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield.
It will showcase some of the key outputs from the Highways Maintenance Efficiency Programme.
There will also be sessions reviewing the activities of the Asphalt Industry Alliance and latest Highway Agency thinking concerning maintaining the strategic road network will be thrown into the spotlight.

- Alan Taggart, Director of Highways Asset Management at Atkins
