Imtech Traffic & Infra has secured a buyer and a future for the business.
It has been bought by Dutch private equity firm Egeria, which manages €1.7 billion of funds. The firm says Egeria aims to create long term value for all parties involved by growing and developing the companies in close cooperation, and based on mutual respect and trust, with the management.
In a statement, Imtech Traffic & Infra said: "With our new owner, Egeria, we have the opportunity to continue our good work and deliver on our commitments to our markets."
Armand Knoop, division director, said: “Our fighting spirit and belief in our division is strong. We are grateful to our employees, our clients and our suppliers for the loyalty and support we have received during this turbulent period.”
Daniel Ruiz, managing director – UK and Ireland, added: “We are extremely pleased with the outcome and the support we have received from our markets here. We have made great steps in the field of Intelligent Mobility and we will continue to do so under this new ownership. Exciting times lie ahead, not just for us but all those we work with.”
