Party seat allocations across and within committees are proportionate to the number of MPs elected to the House of Commons at the general election.
The result is that of 10 other members, six are Labour MPs, two Conservatives and two Liberal Democrats.
Former Labour shadow transport minister Bill Esterson was elected as chair of the Energy Security and Net Zero Committee in September and Florence Eshalomi, also a Labour MP, was elected as chair of the Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee.
Each party has its own internal processes for nominations to fill its seats on committees, after which those who are put forward are agreed in the House of Commons following a Committee of Selection meeting.
The House of Commons said some committees still carry one or two vacancies, which are expected to be filled shortly.
