National Highways chief executive Nick Harris celebrated his first Traffex keynote speech this month, as he complimented the leading event at the start of a busy three day festival of traffic and transport.
'I am impressed with the range of exhibitors,' he said after Traffex saw more than 200 individual exhibitors fill halls 7 and 8 at the Birmingham NEC.
'For me and for us as an organisation, it is a great opportunity to connect with all of our stakeholders,' he added.
Having secured a successful partnership with National Highways this year, which saw the UK's top client support the VIP networking lounge at the event, the Traffex team announced further transformation plans.
Traffex is moving to Coventry's CBS Arena for 22 and 23 May next year and is launching a new element to its evolving programme. A sister event, Evex, will be held alongside Traffex Parkex to support the massively expanding electric vehicle market.
With its long history with the local highway authority market and associated infrastructure and its close links with National Highways on the strategic road network, Traffex is the natural home of the EV market sellers and buyers with Evex set to be the leading national event in this vital area of traffic and transport.
