North Lincolnshire council has released a series of highways deals to the market among a £74m package of frameworks.
The three basic four-year framework agreements will cover highways as well as general building works, building repair and maintenance.
Framework contractors will be expected to work closely with the council’s direct labour organisation and in-house construction teams under an “integrated” approach overseen by a council project board.
The framework agreements being established will be mainly for use by the council, but could be adopted by the other 22 local authorities within the Yorkshire and Humber region.
