The Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE) has named the eight new members of its national Council, replacing those who had completed their term of office.
There were 14 nominations for places at the IHE's top table, later reduced to 13, making it a competitive selection.
The election was formally opened on Tuesday 2nd April as an online ballot only. The ballot remained open until Friday 26th April.
The new council members are:
- Chris Bowley IEng FIHE: cb+ Associates
- Andrew Brown FIHE: BCP Council
- Paula Claytonsmith MIHE: LCRIG
- Andy Cole IEng FIHE: Devon CC
- Gafoor Din IEng FIHE: Warwickshire CC
- Kat Draper CEng FIHE: Mott MacDonald
- Oliver Samways MIHE: Westcotec Ltd
- Lyn Turner FIHE RegRSA(IHE): Costain
Rhys Griffiths of Swansea University was elected in the student ballot held at the same time.
