The deadline to enter the Highways Awards, which takes place in person on 20 October at the Royal Lancaster London, has been extended until 5pm on Friday 16 July.
This means even more teams across the country and get involved and if you are currently compiling your entry or you've been thinking about entering, you now have more time to:
- recognise, reward and celebrate the hard work of your staff over the last 12 months (and what a year it's been!)
- boost team morale
- bring your organisation’s good practice and achievements into the spotlight
- benefit from the chance to make a headline or two if your organisation is shortlisted
- look forward to one very special night of networking and celebration!
This year's awards look set to see another record year of entries with more than 200 highways teams across the country submitting entries. As usual all entries will be judged by our independent panel of expert judges drawn from across the UK.
Highways magazine editor Dominic Browne said: 'We know how hard all our nation's #HighwaysHeroes have worked throughout the pandemic, so this year, even more than ever, we cannot wait to raise a glass with you and recognise your achievements.
'Remember our awards are a true test of excellence, judged by senior experts in organisations like Highways England, Transport Scotland and Northern Ireland's Department for Infrastructure. To win their respect is to win the respect of our entire industry. So get entering.'
