Highway Care has appointed Mark Bird (pictured) as national project manager of its TASCAR (Temporary Automatic Speed Camera at Roadworks) services from August 2020.
The news comes after the company's recent announcement that it would be partnering with PIPS Neology to provide TASCAR services in the UK.
Mr Bird has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the traffic solutions industry and was formally a project manager at WJ, where he helped build the average speed camera division from the ground up.
His new role will comprise working alongside our business development team and with existing key customers, to develop new opportunities for Highway Care within the TASCAR sector.
Mr Bird said: ‘I cannot wait to join the team. I've heard nothing but good things about Highway Care within the industry and I look forward to adding to the success story by developing a thriving TASCAR and ITS Technology department.’
