Tier One contractor Galliford Try has announced that its highways business has rebranded as Galliford Try Infrastructure, reflecting new 'strategic priorities'.
Galliford Try Infrastructure will 'maintain a focus on its core highways offering' the company said, adding that it would enhance its portfolio 'with urban, multi-modal transport schemes that embrace lower carbon travel choices'.
It stated that under managing director David Lowery, the business was able to provide a broad value proposition in its adjacent markets.
The name change comes on the back of a recent realignment, which saw three business streams of National Highways, local authorities and major projects created.
Bill Hocking, chief executive of Galliford Try, commented: 'This rebrand marks a significant milestone in the delivery of our Sustainable Growth Strategy and our progress towards our 2026 strategic objectives.
'Our infrastructure business has had a successful period and the growth in its order book is complemented by a growing reputation across the industry.'
