Eurovia wins path improvement contract in Hertfordshire

Eurovia has been awarded a new contract to improve the footways across Hertfordshire.

The company, which successfully secured a position on all three lots of the £90 million Hertfordshire highways structural maintenance and surface treatments framework contracts last year, will start work on the project in October 2013. The contract covers 86 footway schemes and will run for six months.

Footways spanning the county need repairing and improving and the works will be led by Eurovia Contracting from the company base in Enfield.

Neil Huntington, regional director Eurovia Contracting, said: “We have a history of successfully working in Hertfordshire and are looking forward to enhancing the footways there over the next six months.”
