Route One Highways has been awarded a contract for the maintenance of bridges and structures in the East Midlands (Area 7), Yorkshire (Area 12) and the North East (Area 14).
The company beat six other contractors in the race to join A-one+ in 'the collaboration hub' for delivery of bridges and structures maintenance and renewal works across the managing agent contractor (MAC) contracts.
Works involve bridge expansion joints, waterproofing and other associated structures maintenance for a period of up to two years.
The contract is valued at £1 million per year although this could double over the contract period.
Director Matthew Pert said: “This further cements Route One's position as the most progressive bridges and structures contractor in the UK. We are looking to support Aone+ moving forward in future bids for asset support contracts.”
Route One is a structures and highways maintenance company operating across the whole of the UK. The firm’s services in the structures market include all types of bridge expansion joints, waterproofing, concrete repairs and protective coatings.
In addition to its structures services, Route One offer highways maintenance services including asphalt and concrete repairs, gully and manhole repairs/replacement and joint repairs (inlaid and screeded).
