The London Borough of Camden has put the sector on alert for a £90m contract for public realm maintenance and improvements, including inspection and repair of the streets.
The contract notice is expected to be published on 16 of June with the work set to start on 1 April 2021.
The council intends to appoint two contractors to provide maintenance, upgrade and improvement works to the public highway. It will be for an initial term of five years with the option to extend for three further periods of one-year each.
A prior information notice states: 'One contractor will service one part of the borough and the second will service the other. The Council intends to use an open tender procedure to appoint contractors for these contracts.'
