A five-year highways maintenance deal worth up to £50 million is up for grabs in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
The anticipated commencement date for the contract is April 2014. The duration will be five years, with the option for three 12-month extensions to be granted annually at the council's sole discretion.
The contract shall include the routine, planned and reactive maintenance of the highway as well as improvement works. The borough’s highway network is approximately 450km in length.
The number of contractors who will be invited to tender for the work will be limited to six.
